(NaturalNews) The American military is planning to conduct intense electromagnetic warfare training exercises in a primitive forest area of Washington state this fall despite a lack of proper evidence showing that such exercises are safe. According to Truthout, the U.S. Navy will fly 36 jets at 1,200 feet above the Olympic National Forest, potentially for 16 hours a day and for 260 days, putting animal and human populations at serious risk.
Part of the plan involves erecting 15 mobile ground units within the park that will blast electromagnetic radiation (EMR) signals to supersonic Growler warplanes, a war games exercise that the Navy initially tried to hide from the public. Now that the cat’s out of the bag, the Navy is claiming that the exercises are not a threat, though the military arm has provided absolutely no evidence to back this claim.
