As snow ends across the Balkans, the most disruptive snowstorm so far this winter will move through Ukraine on Monday. Heavy snow will fall across the center of the country, affecting areas from Odessa to Cherkasy and Sumy.
Over the weekend, this snowstorm brought major snowfall across the Balkans, including Bulgaria and Romania, where some locations saw blizzard conditions. Sofia, Bulgaria received 40 cm (15.7 inches) of snow over the weekend.
