After a month-long break from named storms, Storm Gertrude will bear down on the United Kingdom into Friday. The worst of the storm will target Northern Ireland and Scotland.
Storm Gertrude will cross just north of the British Isles Thursday night and Friday, sending wind and rainy spells to the United Kingdom.
Northern Ireland and Scotland will face the worst of Storm Gertrude with strong winds, flooding rain, coastal flooding and travel disruptions all being concerns.
