Rain will fall across the United Kingdom on Tuesday and Wednesday raising concerns for new flooding problems.

Rain will first spread into Northern Ireland and Scotland before reaching northern and western Wales as well as northern England by Tuesday afternoon.

Downpours and strong winds will lash Northern Ireland and western Scotland where 25-50 mm (1-2 inches) of rain and wind gusts over 50 mph (85 km/h) are expected.
