A storm that will bring flooding rain to Italy this weekend will turn northward early next week to bring rain and snow to much of Germany.
Precipitation will begin late on Sunday night as a mixture of rain and some snow snow over Bavaria, before expanding northward and eastward on Monday.
While temperatures will be above zero degrees Celsius (32 F) on Monday across all of Germany, snow can still result in slushy accumulations from just north of Munich to Berlin.
