The risk of severe weather will rebound over parts of the Midwest, Appalachians and Piedmont before the week ends.

“Very spotty severe weather can occur from part of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan to northern Tennessee into Wednesday night,” AccuWeather Senior Meteorologist Kristina Pydynowski said.

“Storms have the potential to be severe on a more regional basis from portions of Ohio to Virginia, eastern Tennessee and northwestern North Carolina on Thursday,” she said.
