A hidden camera video shows the Manhattan Democratic Board of Elections Commissioner, Alan Schulkin, decry voter fraud that is taking place under Mayor Bill de Blasio’s ID program.
“They didn’t vet people to see who they really are. Anybody can go in there and say, ‘I am Joe Smith, I want an ID card,’” said Schulkin in the video released by Project Veritas. “It’s absurd. There is a lot of fraud. Not just voter fraud, all kinds of fraud… This is why I get more conservative as I get older.”
Not recognizing that he was being filmed at the time, Schulkin disbanded from his party’s platform, saying that rather than voter ID requirements hurting the poor and minority populations, it is put in place as a safeguard against fraud, which is now very obviously being perpetrated on the voters by the Democratic party.
As democrats claim requiring an ID to vote is discrimination, they are simultaneously arguing that voters should not be able to identify or quantify votes in any verifiable capacity. They are effectively making an argument against representative democracy and for voter fraud.
“You know, I don’t think it’s too much to ask somebody to show some kind of an ID… You go into a building, you have to show them your ID,” Schulkin said.
