A major 7.3 magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of northern Japan, near the Fukushima reactor that has remained damaged since the devastating 2011 earthquake and tsunami in the same region.
The Japanese Meteorological Agency has issued a tsunami warning for the island’s northern Pacific coast, with waves potentially reaching 10 feet.
